AZ ROC Revokes License Held by
Precision Remodeling and Designs LLC
PHOENIX, Ariz., (May 26, 2020) - On May 22, 2020, the Arizona Registrar of Contractors revoked the B-3 General Remodeling and Repair Contractors license held by Precision Remodeling and Designs LLC (ROC 324506), a Phoenix-based contracting business.
On April 22, 2020, AZ ROC summarily suspended the license after the Agency received and began investigating seven consumer complaints alleging abandonment from Phoenix, Sun City, Tucson, Green Valley and Marana homeowners between April 2 and April 17, 2020. The seven homeowners are out the combined sum of $92,768. The Agency also received and began investigating a complaint submitted by a sub-contractor who alleged the company owes $2,569 for installing a shower door at a Tucson home.
At the subsequent May 11, 2020 summary suspension hearing, the license’s qualifying party, Allison Abbruzzio admitted that all allegations listed in the Registrar’s summary suspension order and notice were legitimate. On May 12, 2020, the Office of Administrative Hearings Administrative Law Judge recommended revoking the license held by Precision Remodeling and Designs LLC, and on May 22, 2020, AZ ROC accepted the decision.
The revocation will take effect on July 1, 2020.
In April, the company’s Project Manager informed AZ ROC that at least 46 other homeowners were waiting on projects that will not be completed. Since then, the Agency has received 19 additional complaints.
AZ ROC encourages impacted consumers who have contracted with Precision Remodeling and Designs LLC and paid for but not received completed projects to file a complaint with the Agency as soon as possible to have their cases investigated.
