Unlicensed Lake Havasu City Roofer Guilty
of Contracting Without a License
PHOENIX, Ariz., (Nov. 25, 2019) – On Tues., Nov. 19, 2019, Paul Stephen Adkisson, 50 of Lake Havasu City pleaded guilty to Contracting Without a License, a Class 1 Misdemeanor, in the Lake Havasu Municipal Court.
The charges stemmed from an AZ ROC investigation which found Adkisson, was paid $4,600 by a Lake Havasu City homeowner who hired him to replace the base plywood sheathing on the roof and drywall in the garage. Adkisson started to replace some of the wood but never completed the job.
Adkisson has never been a licensed contractor in Arizona and this was the first unlicensed complaint AZ ROC investigated involving him.
During sentencing, Adkisson was fined $1,823.00 and received two years probation. A restitution hearing has been set for 3:00 PM on Dec. 12, 2019, in the Lake Havasu Municipal Court.
