COVID-19 - Registrar of Contractors Remains Open for Business - In-Person Services by Appointment Only Read More

The CDC recommends continued physical distancing and in Phase 1 and 2, the ROC Offices will remain open to the public by appointment only. During this time, you should know you can interact with the ROC online and as an Agency, our staff continues to process license applications and changes to licenses and complaints also continue to move through the administrative process. For contact information and additional information related to any process changes at ROC at this time, please visit our Services Related to COVID-19 tab. Though we encourage you to use online services or give us a call at (877) 692-9762 at this time, the Phoenix and Tucson Offices are open to the public by appointment only.

NEW APPLICANT or NEED TO FILE A COMPLAINT?

If you're filing an application for a new license or a complaint to be investigated, please know you can use our online portal. The Online Portal can be accessed from the ONLINE SERVICES tab.

RENEW A LICENSE?

If you need to renew your license, please know you can do so online at HERE.

OTHER CHANGES TO YOUR LICENSE?

If you need to change information related to your license (the qualifying party, address, contact info, bonding information, etc), you are welcome to complete the appropriate form - found on the FORMS page under the Contractor Resources tab - and email it to [email protected]. If there are any fees related to the change, include a contact phone number and the Licensing Department will reach out to you to walk you through the payment process.

Privacy Policy

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-4152, all agency web sites of the State of Arizona shall contain a Privacy Policy. This disclosure addresses collection, use and security of and access to information that may be obtained through the use of this web site. Your rights to privacy are of utmost importance to the State of Arizona in building trust and confidence when conducting business through the Internet.

Our goal is to provide citizens a more convenient and efficient means with which to interact with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC). If you choose not to participate in these activities, your choice will in no way affect your ability to receive benefits or services. If you prefer to apply for benefits or services in person, you may do so at any ROC office.

Collection and Use of Information
ROC does not collect information about you unless you voluntarily participate in an activity that asks for such information. There are various forms and services available on our web site, including complaint form packages, Recovery Fund claim forms, Building Confidence Program (formerly known as the "Courtesy Inspection") request, and unlicensed contractor activity reports. The information requested and supplied by you through the ROC web site, is the same information requested if you appeared in person at any ROC office.
The web server that hosts ROC does gather certain information about the visit automatically in a standard log file. This information never identifies you personally and consists of only the following items:
The Internet domain (for example, "xcompany.com" if you use a private Internet access account, or "yourschool.edu" if you connect from a university's domain) from which you access the web site;
The IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web) from which you access the web site; and
The date and time of your access.
Security
The ROC and its consultants, as developer and manager of this web site, have taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of its computer systems and networks. Including, but not limited to, individual authentication, the security of transmitted data, security monitoring, auditing, and encryption of your information. Security methods and measures have been integrated into the design, implementation and day-to-day practices of the entire web site.
